I just learned that I can do all necessary conversions between CD, wave, and MP3 files in an older version of Easy CD Creator, which I already have on my laptop. Converting a wave from your sequencer to an MP3 prompts another question:

When creating MP3s for live performance backing tracks, what recording rate should be used? Several choices are given from 32 -> 320 kbps.

Thanks,
Glenn

Agreed 128 is top quality, you can go more but it makes the file much larger

Thanks, I've heard good things about CD-EX. I'm going to download the program and check it out.
